The Cheapest Snapdragon Wear 4100 Smartwatch is $140

The TicWatch E3 smartwatch is discounted, and the new price makes it the cheapest Snapdragon 4100 Wear OS watch. It will also get Wear OS 3.

Mobvoi It’s offering a limited time deal on the TicWatch E3 which makes it the cheapest Wear OS smartwatch powered by the Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor at the moment. The watch was launched earlier this year and it packs some great features at an affordable price.

The Snapdragon Wear 4100 is the chipset of choice for most of the manufacturers launching a Wear OS smartwatch in 2021. Powered by an Exynos in-house processor, Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, and this Qualcomm chipset, along with its sibling Snapdragon Wear 4100+, is What one will find in most of the Wear OS smartwatches announced this year.

TicWatch E3 is a round face watch that was launched in June 2021 for $199.99. Although it has sold for less than that price since its release, Mobvoi’s current deal that sees the price drop to $139.99 is the lowest ever, at least in the US during the Double 11 shopping festival earlier this month, was available for less than $120. $ on AliExpress with a combination of official store discounts and coupons. Currently, it can be purchased for around $119 from an e-commerce store. However, those in the US can get it on the Mobvoi website and Amazon for $139.99.

The TicWatch E3 is a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy Watch 4, which is also discounted at the time of writing. However, the lower price means that it loses the most important health features that the Samsung smartwatch boasts of, such as fall detection, ECG, blood pressure monitoring and a biomechanical body composition sensor. The TicWatch E3’s 1.3-inch HD display is also an LCD, and it’s made of polycarbonate and fiberglass, unlike the Galaxy Watch 4 which has an AMOLED display and aluminum case.

The Mobvoi watch has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. The IP68-rated watch supports more than 20 sports modes, including high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and besides tracking sleep, it can also measure heart rate (24/7) and blood oxygen level. It runs Wear OS 2, but it’s among the watches that will be upgraded to Wear OS 3. There’s Google Assistant on the board, NFC with Google Pay support, and 2.4GHz WLAN and GPS. It also has a speaker and a microphone so that users can answer calls on the watch. The battery life is said to be 72 hours, but it can be up to 45 days when in basic mode. The TicWatch E3 is compatible with Android and iOS devices, unlike the Galaxy Watch 4 which only works with Android. It is available in Black Panther, but Mobvoi Offers 20mm replaceable straps in a variety of colors.
